Get ready to pull on your wellies and join us for a fantastic day out! We're thrilled to announce that DM Dale & Co, the family farm behind your favourite Proper Good Dairy organic milk, will be opening its gates for LEAF Open Farm Sunday on Sunday, 8th June 2025
For over 25 years, our family has been dedicated to organic farming right here in the heart of the beautiful South Shropshire countryside. This is your chance to step behind the scenes, meet our lovely herd of around 300 Friesian x Jersey cows, and see exactly where the delicious, creamy organic milk that fills your Proper Good Dairy reusable glass bottles comes from.
What is Open Farm Sunday?
LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) Open Farm Sunday is the farming industry’s annual open day. It's a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages to visit a working farm, learn more about how our food is produced, and discover the passion and dedication that goes into British farming. It’s all about connecting you with the journey of your food from field to fork (or, in our case, from pasture to pint!).

Meet the Stars of the Show: Get up close (but not too close!) with our friendly cows and, depending on timings, maybe even some of our younger calves.
Learn About Organic Farming: Discover what it means to be a certified organic farm. We'll explain how we care for our land, our animals, and the local wildlife without the use of artificial pesticides or fertilisers.
See the Milking Parlour: Understand the milking process and how we ensure the highest quality milk.
Trace Your Milk's Journey: Connect the dots between our pastures and the Proper Good Dairy vending machines and local shops where you buy your milk.
Enjoy the Countryside: Take a guided walk around parts of the farm (weather permitting!) and breathe in that fresh Shropshire air.
