From Farm to Freezer:
Ready to Go: When one of our organically-reared cattle is ready for processing, we schedule it in with our local butcher. Our cattle enjoy a natural, mainly grass-fed diet, resulting in flavorful and healthy beef.
Three Week Wait: It then takes approximately three weeks for the butchering, hanging, and packaging to be completed. This time is crucial to ensure the meat is properly aged for optimal flavor and tenderness.
Spread the Word: During those three weeks, we advertise our beef boxes to our loyal customers. This pre-ordering system guarantees that all the meat is sold, minimizing waste and ensuring you get the freshest cuts possible.
Order Online: You can easily pre-order your beef box through our website and pay securely online.
Stay Informed: We will notify you as soon as the boxes are available for collection or delivery. Please note that the exact timing can vary slightly depending on the butcher's schedule.
Packaging Perfection: We offer a choice of different sized boxes to suit your needs! Each box arrives packed with a variety of cuts, all vacuum-sealed for freshness and convenience. This makes it easy to split a box with family or a neighbour. You can expect:
Joints (approximately 1kg)
Steaks (packed in twos)
Mince and stew meat (500g packs)
Freshness First: Once packed, the meat has a one-week shelf life in your refrigerator. However, it is suitable for freezing, allowing you to enjoy it for months to come! We aim to distribute the boxes or have them collected as quickly as possible after they return from the butcher. This ensures you receive your beef at its absolute best.
